New Apprentice Builds Career

Our apprentice bricklayer, Joe White, has taken the next step in building a successful career having completed the NVQ Level 3 in bricklaying.

Joe joined the Colbran & Wingrove team in December 2013 with the Level 1 NVQ which he gained via a full-time course at Sussex Downs College. He secured a position with us to learn other aspects of the building trade whilst completing his apprenticeship.

To achieve the Level 2 & 3 NVQ qualifications Joe attended college one day a week, spending the rest of the week working alongside our tradesmen to gain practical experience.

“I am very pleased for Joe” commented Russell Colbran, MD of Colbran & Wingrove. “He has worked hard and shown real enthusiasm to complete his apprenticeship. Joe has been a great addition to our team. He shows maturity and continues to improve his skills and grow into a rounded tradesman. I wish him all the best for his future with us.”

We believe it is important to invest time and training to develop skilled tradespeople for the future and are keen to engage with new apprentices. If you feel you have what it takes to become part of the team please call us on 01323 729025 or contact us by email.
