PRG Exterior Redecoration

For PRG, a PR and marketing agency, presentation is pretty important. However, the exterior face of the agency’s town centre offices had become tired and no longer matched the energy inside.

We were therefore appointed to carry out a full redecoration. The building enjoys a prime town centre location and is an attractive three-storey period property with mouldings, a large bay and generously proportioned windows.

Prior to starting, we arranged for access scaffolding to the front elevation and debris netting. We also managed the application for the relevant pavement licenses and building notices for new windows to comply with building regulations.

The work involved stripping off the roof coverings to the lower and ground floor bay roofs, plus repairs to areas of wall render. We carefully removed seven timber windows to the ground and first floor and installed the new windows, including four UPVC heritage-style vertical sliding sashes.

Every surface of the building’s frontage, from ground level to the eaves, was meticulously primed and we cleared guttering and sealed all the joints.

Newly painted in white masonry paint with a contrasting anthracite colour to pick out the front door, planters, and railings, the agency is once again as smart outside as it is in.
