Compact Kitchen Design

This compact kitchen design is a masterclass in making the most of a small and irregular layout.

Gloss cabinets reflect the light, whilst the handleless design provides a sleek finish. Pairing them with a Quartz worktop and splashback in a closely matched colour has ensured the contrast between the two key elements is minimal.

Built-in appliances are always a great choice when it comes to small spaces, even the freestanding fridge-freezer has been effectively ‘disappeared’ thanks to custom-built housing.

Engineered wood herringbone flooring has been fitted throughout the kitchen, dining space and hallway and added warmth and texture.

Our team managed the project from start to finish and the homeowner is delighted with the result, saying:

"Our kitchen refurbishment included re-laying the floor, modifying lighting and power points, decoration, installation of all the units and work surfaces, etc. Everyone was impressively professional, polite, efficient and tidy. C&W reacted so promptly to a couple of minor snags. I’m very satisfied with the results. The third job they have completed for me over the last few years."
